I have a bacterial infection.
I have barely eaten in two days.
Yesterday I had a cereal bar and a baked potato with sour cream, chives and butter...
I coughed so hard that I threw the entire potato up.
Today I have half a bowl of veggie soup and about four bits of a soft tortilla.
It sucks ass that I feel this bad.
My heart rate was up so high when I went to the doctor that the guy who took it, didn't beleive the monitor and retook it by hand.
I am also lucky as dog shit that I even found out what was wrong. My health insurance lasped as I resently changed jobs. So I orginally went to the ER since they dont make you pay upon services received. But I waited there for an hour and half or more and didn't even get seen at triage. So I left.
Instinct told me to suck it up and put the charges on my credit card and just got to the place I normally go...thank god I listened to my instincts. The doctor first thought I had the flu. Had this happened at the ER that would have been that and I would have been treated for the flu. However, my doc wanted to confirm it with blood work.
When the results came back it said my White Blood Count was elevated. They are suppose to be between 60-65 percent...mine were above 80 percent. Also rapid heart rate is associated with bacterial infections. Mine was at 124. Normal ranges from 50-100...truly normal is like 50-80. My normal is between 70-90...I have low blood pressure so it has to compensate...
But yeah...this is my life.
I'm sorry I haven't update recently but I guess no one really reads this anyway.
