Facebook applications
Well, as if facebook applications weren't evil enough as it is, I've just noticed that some of the ones on a friend's page are trying to catch my attention *by name*. What the hell?
I didn't even think they could go gathering data about who is on your friends list, let alone who accesses your profile page and when. That's really not on.
Edit: There's an option in privacy that I'm certain I'd have selected if I'd seen it before. To use any apps, it has to be enabled and it says something like "share your name, list of friends and networks" next to it. Although I've opted out now, I wonder if this also means that they won't see my name appearing in the friends lists of other people?
