Long time....
....Could be 'cos I've not had anything to report though. Ha.
Been working loads, really getting along with Andy and Barbara now, and they've been training me to do the bar too, which is great fun, and very useful :) Though I have gained a nickname of 'Shortie' from Andy, and he's really taking the piss (in a fun way) - he's put another clock up on the wall in the kitchen a long way below the other one, as he says the new one is so that I can see! How rude!
While Ross and Claire were away at a wedding last weekend it was manic, and with only Chris cheffing it's surprising we coped!
Went to Norwich on Wednesday with Polly and she got me Roddy Woomble's album as my birthday present :D (He's the Idlewild singer, just released a solo album, for ye who don't know). It's verrrrry goodly, all folky and pretty. I'm impressed :) And I got Black Books series 3 which was going uber cheap, and a new pooter game to keep me occupied when I'm not working. And I also got a couple of presents for Ben's birthday, but I'm having major issues with the main thing I'm getting him :( I can't even explain because he sometimes reads this and then he'll know what he's getting! Hmph!
New footy season kicks off on Saturday :D YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! Premiership isn't until 19th though. I'm worried, we've done awfully in our friendlies....the new manager was meant to make Charlton better, not worse....We'll see.
