tooting my own horn... err, kazoo?
We didn't actually use the kazoos in last night's show, but just the same...
Our set at the Hustlebot show last night just felt so great. My voice felt clear and strong, I made a zinger of a joke (our mini amps vs. our giant selves), and our material just seemed to be a perfect fit for the vibe of the show. The audience was small but SO enthusiastic. I was on a total high from the time we took the stage to the moment my head hit the pillow last night.
It was just ON.
And one of the best parts? We got another gig out of it! We'll be playing June 15 at the Beaver Valley Bowl for improv night with the Cellar Dwellers. I anticipate that it will be a rockin' good time. The last few weeks have really been crazy. We had a bit of a dry spell, then all of the sudden five gigs hit us like BAM!!!!!
I guess we better start rehearsing...
