С пятницы никак не могу отойти от убийства Бориса Немцова. Я не успела еще с работы до дома доехать, а мне уже посыпались сообщения, в основном из соц.сетей, информирующие о произошедшем. Одна из тех новостей, в которые не хочется верить, которые кажутся ошибкой

I have been following the commentary here in the US. The views are very mixed. Though, I cannot see what the US can do to change this. Even less, I am not sure what the Russian people can do about this.

Russian people can stop supporting the government and its evil propaganda, to begin with...

I have said that point myself, and I cannot seem to convince others. I still believe in the use the Democratic process and vote the, Uncultured folks, out of office. I would have said the popular phrase of my youth, "Vote da bums outa office", but not sure if you would have understood.

Short of that, and God I hope it does not come to that, another 1991.

As sad as it is, I think at that point "1991. Reload" is not the worst-case scenario...

You might be right. The worst case for both our countries is Mr. Putin finally gets his NATO / RF conflict; and I don't mean another cold war, a hot shooting war.
