You are welcome! I love the idea of Scripps/Lockwood (because they are my two favorite HB) even though I had never really pictured it before. But I'm happy to picture it. Like alot.
Scripps and Lockwood are also my two favorites, predictably. I guess that's why I decided I should pair them up. (Well, that, and I like the way Scripps says Jimmy's name. Uh.)
And BoB is another fandom I've always meant to write something in. And never gotten around to.
Also, I want to watch the movie again. Maddy, this is not healthy. I really, really want to see the play again, but as it is not available, I may re-read it, just so I stop watching the film. It will burn itself into my retinas. (Do you want to read the play? You can borrow mine, if you're interested.)
Oh, I really enjoyed this. I've never thought of Scripps/Lockwood but you made it believable. I liked the non-linear timeline that allowed us to piece their story together.
2. Oh boy oh boy oh boy, Scripps waits and finally gets how it was for Posner, except not really, because - you know, he's actually with Lockwood, and I can't quite imagine which hurts more. But still, the pain and the sad smiles and eeeeee~ MADDY ILU.
3. I ♥ a lot that Scripps doesn't have a Catholic existentical angst moment, like fics with Scripps in them quite often do. \o/ He *would* be rather self-possessed about it, I feel.
4. You know, I've always liked Lockwood rather peripherally, but after this I feel the need to rewatch The History boys again to pay proper attention where it is due.
2. dflgkhzldfhg yes, exactly! I am glad that it works okay! MISHYYYY.
3. Oh, good! I was honestly wondering if I should put in more religion, but Scripps is sort of an odd believer in the movie, so I thought that would carry on later in life, too, I guess.
4. I LOVE HIM. HIS RED SHOES AND ASSHOLE-ISH TENDENCIES. You should definitely rewatch.

(Also? I was born in December 1991. For some reason that both slightly creeps me out and makes me love this fic even more...)
