And, really, I'm happy to drag as many people into bandom as humanly possibly. I can understand being tentative about it, because of how much closer the people involved are, in contrast with k-pop boyband members, who are far away enough to almost seem alien. For me, as a writer, it was kind of a relief, honestly, to be back in a fandom where I know the culture intimately and from first-hand experience. Because, as much as I loved writing k-pop fic, being an American myself, I find it hard sometimes to understand Korean culture in the same way that I can interstand American culture.
Anyway, I'm glad that you decided to read about Panic! and other FBR bands. And I'm happy I could help with that, however unadvertantly. There are some really fabulous writers in this fandom. It makes me very happy. :D
