Instead of a honeymoon we decided to renovate the kitchen, so Monday was back to work as usual for both of us. Almost as usual... Laura was to drop off my nephew at 6:30 AM and head to Methodist Hospital in Philly to see a pain specialist and I would feed Drew breakfast and get him to school before I went to work. It clearly should have occurred to someone that Laura is such a pain that they might want to keep her on hand for a case study.
Tim has to leave for work before 6:00 every day and Drew can't be at school before 8:45 AM. Rather than make a cranky-groggy Drew show up at my house at 6:00, we are keeping him overnight. Since Tim's quitting time at the hospital is "when he's seen the last patient," we're also feeding Drew dinner, making him bathe, and putting him to bed.
Laura has been told that she should expect to be there "probably between three days and two weeks." If she stays long enough, we may never want to have kids.
