I'm 22, a recent college grad, and a cub reporter in New York City. The best part of my job is that I see something new everyday, and I write about it a lot. Also, other variations on the general theme of figuring out life in the real world. I was going to move to Cambodia but now I think I might just move to Brooklyn instead. My attention span is rapidly shrinking. I'm desperately afraid of failure and one-year leases. I'll do almost anything once, but I'm not as impulsive as I wish I was. I'm obsessed with zoning law, old elevators, and hot air balloons. I also enjoy baseball and cheap beer. I'm a little bit of a masochist, and prone to frequent moral crises. I care about politics, domestic and international. To steal from E.B. White, "I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day." I really just want to do something that matters. I'm a lapsed Catholic. I believe in the Oxford comma and the kindness of strangers. I also believe that everyone has a story, and I want to hear it. Wanna be friends?
