Beginners Japanese student

Interests: philosophy, music (if you have Japanese musicans to recommend, please do!), psychology, sociology, animals, poetry ... I'm making myself sound like a geek but I'm lots of fun, I promise ^_____^
I'm looking for an LJ in the Japanese (keep in mind that I'm a beginner!) language. I'm looking for both beginners and advanced Japanese speakers :)
Anything else? I'm new to Japanese. All I can really say is "hajimemashite" and "yoroshiku onegai shimasu", and I can read and write about 18 characters in hiragana. I have 50 minute lessons five times a week, tomorrow we'll be learning more hiragana characters.
