Here I Sit A Vampire at My Piano...
So the ROTLD soundtrack came in the mail last week. Kicks fucking ass. I can't place where the TSOL song is in the movie though. Don't know why I waited so long. It shipped four days before Mystics in Bali did and got here a day after. Also The Burning, Don't Torture a Duckling and Let Sleeping Corpses Lie came last week. The last one w/ a long title was fantastic.
To get in the mood of the season I picked up Schlafly's Pumpkin Ale. The two other pumpkin beers I've tried I hated. I actually don't even like pumpkin anything asides from the candies that come out round Halloween. But goddamn this beer is fantastic. Also picked up some Rogue Dead Guy. I've had it at one of my favorite pizza places but haven't picked up a six pack. Speaking of the season, I know my costume. This year I'm going to be Herbert West. It will be awesome.
Picked up some trade paperbacks as well. Catwoman: When in Rome, a sequel/continuation of Jeph Loeb's Batman Long Halloween/Dark Victory. And finally and I mean finally finally what the fuck took me so long picked up Watchmen. Only two chapter in and I'm lovin it.
Started watching season one of Heroes with the girlfriend. Only nine episodes in. I dig it big time. We watched six episodes last night. Some things I saw and some definitely surprised me. I am annoyed though by Ali Larter's story. Asides from fucking Nathan, and her husband having cool powers, I don't see how her story adds to what seems to be the main one going on. We've got four discs to go than can start on season 2.
