SMIPLY AMAZING
well tonight was the big audioslave concert an I can say that I in no way was dissapionted.
It was such an Amazing show
went to work got out at 230
rushed home to shower then went over renee to meat up with josh and dan
we took off at 315ish and headed to hartford
took about an hour and a half but thats allright
waited for the doors to open then went inside
there were 5 bands playing
First up was "livin Truth" a local CT band
They were Awsome and i hope i can get there album through the non expensive way cough cough...
after 5 songs they left the stage and made way for band #2
well after this bands first song we all desided to go get food lets just say that
when we came back they were just leaving which was fine by me because they were bad
Now that the smaller bands were done the better stuff was to come
Next up was "30 seconds to mars"
They are a weird band but they played ok not the best live band but they did there thing
O lol this was were my night almost turned to crap
right as they were about to come on this guy came over and sat in the seat infront of me
he was like 7' tall and probly 400 pounds easy
i was like omg are you fucking kidding i have a wall infront of me
SOB
luckaly he was sitting for most of the time
side note i was laughing pritty hard at the guy behind us that started shouting "FIGHT CLUB, Facts of are lifes..." and all the other movies the lead singer of 30stm's lead singer is in
Well next up was Seether
Umm wow they are quite awsome live
they pissed me and josh off when after there first song they started playing the begining of Respect by Pantera then just stoped after a few lines into the song
played a good cover of the deftones that was cool
they hard me rockin out
Then after that THE SHOW STARTED
AUDIOSLAVE YEAHH
they played 5 of there songs then turned back the clock
Busted out Rusty Cage and Spoonman from chris's Soundgarden days
then went back to 4 audioslave songs
Then the place went fuckin crazy when cornel left the stage and the boys of Rage busted out
with playing Bulls on Parade then half through Tom marelo busted out one hell of a solo
then they busted right into sleep now in the fire
At this point the entire place was jumping and going crazy
IT WAS AWSOME
after this they calmed down with 2 more songs then Chris came out and did 4 acoustic songs
after that they did another audio slave song
THEN BAM fucking "killing in the name" o YEAH!!!
Right around this time was when i probly lost my voice for the night
then they finished it all off with one more song
This was the best concert ive ever been to i must say
IT was like no other
it was Pearl Jam then it was Rush now it is Audioslave
I dont think this will be beat though
