About Me: I am a married mother of 2 children and our furbaby, Scooby Doo. My husband and I are partners in a retail bakery. I spend my days working in the bakery and tapping away on my keyboard writing. I am 2 years and 360,000 words in to something I hope one day will be a book people will enjoy reading.
About my journal: My journal is a collection of daily events, photographs, (my) book exceprts, quotes by people who inspire me, a record of my illnesses (I have Lupus, non-deforming Arthritis, Fibromyalgia and Depression/Anxiety). Poetry, rants, "What I'm reading" posts.
What I write: Honestly - Most of what I write I have dreamed about the night before. I dream about it, then I write it. So there's not much limitations on it. I try to challenge myself. My book is young adult novel that has elements of crime, deception, sex - All the things that bring a high classification at the movies.
I am not good with obscure adjectives and descriptors! I write what I see and I write how people really talk. I find it hard to describe "brown hair" as anything other than that. I have been trying to work on this though.
What I read: I tend to be drawn towards Non-Fiction. I love true crime novels and biographies. My guilty pleasure is Fear Street novels and Babysitters Club lol. I've been collecting them for my kids ;)
What I'm looking for: Readers, writers! Inspiration! People who can help me develop my writing!
