Name: Kayla.
About me: I've been a bookworm for what seems like forever, so naturally writing my own stories eventually followed. Aside from reading and writing I also enjoy photography, spending far too much time in the library, and watching various British television shows. I also love iced tea, say "Oh gosh" and "Oh goodness" a lot, and am well on my way to being a crazy cat lady. I have three of my own and live with eight.
About my journal: There isn't much there at the moment, but one day I hope to see it filled with various writing snippets, rambling posts detailing my writing woes, discussions about books, movies and television shows, and maybe even a review here or there.
What I write: I mostly write fantasy, paranormal, historical and young adult fiction. Sometimes I dabble in a spot of adult fiction and fanfiction.
What I don't write: Erotica and poetry. (The latter not through lack of trying).
What I read: Anything and everything, or just about. Classics, adult, young adult, childrens; fantasy (and all it's sub-genres), historical, apocalyptic, dystopian, contemporary, horror... If I like a synopsis enough I will at the very least try and finish the book.
What I don't read: Essentially what I don't write.
Could I edit someone else's work? Absolutely.
What I'm looking for: Fellow writers and book lovers. Especially those who enjoy writing or reading the same genres I do. Bonus points if you also share my love of various television shows, music that sounds like music and not noise, and can accept that black licorice is awesome. Well, I suppose I could waver the last one. :P
