About Me I live a pretty simple life, to be honest. I'm currently unemployed, which leaves more time for writing. The smell of old books is divine to me. I adore going into a second hand book shop and browsing for the sake of it. I'm also something of a hoarder. I'll collect things like old horseshoes I find on walks, china horses, dogs and dragons.
What I write: Fiction. Short stories and unfinished novels. Some fanfiction. Genres I write tend to vary. I mostly dabble in supernatural right now, with forays into fantasy and humour. Romance has a habit of creeping into my stories at times, but quite often isn't the main focus of the story. I also have a habit of playing around with different points of view, so one story might be written in second person and another might be in third. Occasionally there'll be introspective pieces.
What I don't write: Smut. Erotica. Mostly because I don't think I'd be very good at it, but also because I have no interest in writing them. I'll probably never write anything that concerns vampires.
What I read: I adore Douglas Adams. I've also read Daphne du Maurier, Agatha Christie and Neil Gaiman, amongst others. I read fantasy, sci-fi, mystery and mythology. Also some non fiction, mostly about the natural world.
What I don't read: Books where all the characters do is have sex with each other. I'm not a big fan of vampire fiction. Autobiographies.
My Journal Contains: Not much, at the moment, seeing as I've just started it! Writing, mostly. Drawings/photos/other random stuff may occasionally creep in, but overall, I'd say that my journal will contain about 90% writing.
What I Am Looking For: Just people who might read and give feedback when I post anything I’ve written. Friends.
