Name: Zoe
Age: Old enough
About Me:I'm a lesbian. A black lesbian pervert in Pennsylvania. I've been a bookworm ever since I was old enough to read books without pictures and a pervert ever since I was old enough to know what being a pervert meant. (A broad statement, but whatever.) Ummm...I like shiny things, reading, and British television and modern literature. Torchwood, Merlin, Doctor Who...yes. I also enjoy the classics like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Xena, evident bases of many femslash stories.
I come to livejournal (and here) for what I think is not too much to ask for. Online friends and people who'll give me feedback and tell me if my writing's terrible.
About My Journal: It houses all of my writings with plots/subplots centered around romance and/or erotica. Or, to be more precise, it will. Right now I have a few poems on it, and will soon post a (hopefully) long running fantasy/lesbian piece with a nc-17 rating. Eventually, I'll post something other than lesbian erotica (nothing straight, of course) and hopefully will grow as a writer here.
What I Write: Fiction. With queerness. Fantasy, sometimes, and other times just non-fantasy but fictional romances. There may be adventure. There may be porn without plot, or erotica, because there's something more flattering about that word. Right now I'm in a plotty fantasy elf-porn mood...Heh. I write poems sometimes to (in the loosest meaning of the word.)
I may rant but that's usually rare, and it definitely won't be about my personal life.
What I Don't Write: Fanfiction. Nonfiction. I don't post essays up here either.
What I Read: I like good fiction (of these genres particularly: romance, erotica, fantasy, science fiction). Which means if I like it, I'll read it. I also read poems. I'll read fanfiction too, as long as it's slash. I like satire fiction too.
What I Don't Read: Boring shit. Unless I have to read something that bores me to tears, I won't.
Can I critique/edit someone else's work: I'll give feedback, but I honestly lack the patience to sit down and rip something apart and then glue it back together again with red ink. But like I said before, I will comment on your writing.
