Iran

Iran is showing signs of possible revolution, the people have been protesting in the streets. Mir-Hossein Mousavi has been reported to have vowed martyrdom, should his cause be successfully silenced he will surely be put away or worse; people have been rioting and attempting facility occupations. A lot are using social networking sites such as twitter to spread information in and out of Iran's borders. The government has been using foreign forces and domestic enforcement to quell the protesters. Hundreds are being arrested and right now the protests continue but it seems as if things are fading. At this point one can only hope for some sort of further organized resistant uprising, but things are extremely difficult with the government's censorship and sadly the protesters are apparently being successfully silenced.

What can the genuine individuals of the world do but see and observe in pain? In the end, all we may be able to do is wish for the protection and light to guide and save our friends from harm's way in that country so far from our homes tonight.
