I may have joined this community and introduced myself some time ago, but I left LJ and have now returned - and my opinions have changed a lot since then, so I figured it would be sensible to introduce myself.
Name: Not a big fan of actual personal information on the internet, so Vacant will do. I can't remember why I chose this username, but I'm stuck with it now.
Location/Background: I'm originally from Minneapolis, MN, USA. Now living in the depressing state of Texas. Raised in a middle-class, privileged family with strong religious elements.
Ideologies/Politics: I'm an anarchosyndicalist, admittedly much in the strain of Chomsky. I don't agree with him on everything, but he's heavily influenced my ideological worldview. It would be nice to not be influenced by such a well-known individual, but nothing I can do about it; I believe what I believe. Besides political theory, my primary elements include: atheism, anarchofeminism, value-based romance, anti-binary gender systems, and anti-heteronormativity.
