Greenstein gets a lot of play on High Stakes Poker.

I would have been shocked if Moneymaker made it. (I'm actually a little surprised that Raymer did). It's been 7 years since he won and he's done very little since then. Every time I've seen him on tv he's been either extremely hung over or he's whining about his bad luck. Seems to me that he gave up the right to ever whine about luck with his run in 2003 and needs to go back and review the hand against Ivey. I'm surprised Lindgren didn't make it, since he's had a fair amount of coverage.

Agree about Moneymaker but I thought he'd get it based on name and exposure. I mean, if Farha can get there why can't Chris?

I'm not as shocked about Lindgren.

Farha, like Greenstein, has gotten a huge amount of coverage on High Stakes Poker over the last few years and didn't he win a bracelet this year? That may have helped him and as you said, since it only took 5k votes it must have been enough of a boost. Gold has gotten coverage there too, although it wasn't necessarily in the best light, he basically acted like an idiot on most of the episodes.

Actually Farha has not played the last couple years. Other than that his only TV exposure was 2003 WSOP. Gold only played on 2 seasons (3&4) and even so, not that much (he went busto too quickly to get as much airtime).

I think Farha got in because he just radiates "cool"

Well, looks like they went for a lot of very good players, #15 notwithstanding.
