VH1 is the first step in getting too big for your britches. Her music doesn't have the same "sound" anymore, because the original sound wasn't as VH1 friendly. Selling out is just around the corner.

her music doesn't have the same sound because artists are looking for new sounds. i don't think begin to hope was written as a VH1 friendly album intentionally

anyway, artists make music not only for themselves, but for fans and potetntial fans who would be lured.

it is true that when I bring up regina at my preppy private school, a lot of the girls start doing the "hea-ah-ah-art" thing, and when I sing something like "and then one morning i woke up and i thought oedipus, oedipus etc." they look at me funny.
but I think it's in her best interest

and she seems happy about what she's doing

selling out is a term used by hardcore followers, though, so i salute you :]

I agree I mainly took the picture because I was happy to see her getting air time
I like that other people get to hear her out
