I'm Julia, I'm 25 and I live in Peterborough, Ontario. This is my third "day in my life". My fiance and I took a roadtrip to Kingston and did our taxes. Excitement ensues... sorta :D Enjoy.

Wake up. Half asleep face!
It's earlier than I normally get up, but we've got to get out early today.
My lovely fiance is already up, watching Third Watch of course (de ja vu anyone?)
Shower, no dawdling this morning!
So fresh and so clean
The things that will make me look like a human.
Matt comes to kick me out of the bathroom so he can get ready and shower, Sierra joins us.
I finish make up application etc. on the couch and realize my hair does NOT want to be wavy today. Ick!
Matt made smoothies while I was in the shower! Yippie!
Finally allowed back in the bathroom I fix my hair and finish making myself presentable. Voila! Not too shabby.

Time check! Not too bad, out of the house in just over an hour. Matt has to be in Kingston for 11am, so we should make it.
First we have to figure out where the heck we're going!
The car was empty, so while Matt fills up I go in for COFFEE!
Timmies and batteries (for the camera, the ones in it were dying). Will I win anything on roll-up? Stay tuned!

Oh ya, Sierra came with us. She loves car rides :)

On a long road trip such as this, I sing loudly. That is what I am doing here. You'll have to forgive me, Matt took several of the pictures while I was driving because... well, I was driving.

Where Matt had to be, I drop him off for his test and kiss him good luck.

I lost. I haven't won anything this year, not even a donut :( Timmies is letting me down.
Sierra's reward for tagging along on the roadtrip, I take her into Petsmart. We don't have one in Peterborough, so when we're in a city that has one I take her in.
She liked the birds :) (I had forgotten to bring her head halter and she can be a brat, so I looped her leash around her head in a makeshift halti.)
Matt called saying he was done, time check while my phone is out.
Does he look confident? He thinks it went very well.
We need lunch, so I pop into a bank to deposit my birthday money.
aaaaaaand then we grab subs.
Sierra is always happy to hang out in the car, I feel bad for her during the summer when it's too hot and she doesn't get to come.
Time check as we hit the road again
401 to Toronto. We aren't going to Toronto, but it's the right direction.
Big canadian flag. Matt was asleep for the drive back so I took this picture... taking a picture while going nearly 130 km/h is precarious work. You will be glad to know I did not crash :)
Home sweet home!
We veg at home for a bit, I watch Stargate Atlantis while checking e-mail and things. (I didn't do a time check when we got home, so take a half hour off this time (2:52) if you want to know how long the drive took).
Matt's having trouble finding everything he needs to get his taxes done.
TWO BITE BROWNIES! Linden, Carson and Kris brought these over with a pot of gerber daisies for my birthday.
The time, also my birthdate. We're finally heading out to get our taxes done. (How exciting. You know you can't wait).
Downtown Peterborough can be so pretty... this isn't exactly one of those times but it will do.
Yup, I'm pretty sure they do taxes.
I didn't want to be obvious about taking pictures while we were there as I didn't want to wierd anyone out, so I did this instead.
I was bored, can you tell? (You can probably also tell I'm not much of an artist! LOL)
FINALLY! Tax refund in hand, WOOT!
We were in there for TWO HOURS!
Back home again.
Matt's going to his aunt and uncles for dinner since he has to be in Newmarket for an interview tomorrow and is staying at their place, so I eat the leftovers from my birthday dinner. It was pot roast in the slow cooker, second day it became beef stew.
Matt tries on his suit for the interview tomorrow. He's nervous about the red shirt/tie thing, but doesn't have anything else so it'll have to do.
One of the best episodes of Family Guy, EVER.
I don't get to watch the whole thing though, as Matt's leaving. I get a kiss goodbye and wave as he drives off.
I feel bad that Sierra's had such a cooped up day, and I'm going out for the evening. We go for a micro walk. I'll make up for it tomorrow.
Time as I'm leaving the apartment. I'm going to this Improv Workshop Elisabeth invited me to. I'm very excited!

I didn't think I should take any pictures *during* the workshop, but I snapped this one quickly as we were disbanding.

Three VERY hungry critters!! I realize this is the first appearance of my cats of the day. This is unusual for them, but I haven't been home much so I guess that's all it is. Nya is the fluffy one, Buddy is the tabby.
Everyone's food all prepped.
(I haven't been taking pictures of the dog's pee breaks today, but she has one last one before bed).

Time, and the book I'm currently reading at bedtime.
And since Matt's gone for the night, I get to snuggle with the dog. Night night!
