You remind me of a song I used to love.
I put new music on my iPod today. It's almost a rejuvenating feeling. It is ridiculous how much my moods are influenced by the music I listen to/acquire and vice versa.
Anyhow, I bought the new Bright Eyes cd, which I really like so far (I have yet to get all the way through it) and has a really kickass cover. I also bought Lynn Teeter Flower by Maria Taylor, which I have wanted for FOREVER because she's amazing. I stole a Carpenters cd and a James Taylor cd from my mom. I dig the oldies. Tomorrow, I'm going to "borrow" the new Michael Bublé from my dad after we give it to him for Father's Day haha.
I found "La Vie En Rose" on myspace, but I couldn't find the Jewel song I wanted to put on my page. Ridic? I think so. Oh well. I love that song, and it makes me want to watch Sabrina. I'm about to commit Audrey Hepburn blasphemy by saying that I like the remake of Sabrina better than her original. It has a better and more romantic ending, and Harrison Ford is more attractive that Humphrey Bogart. I'm sorry, Audrey. I still love you.
Dana and Leah's grad party was today. We gave them each $100. Leah opened the envelop and looked like she was about to cry. My mom saw that she looked like she was about to cry, and then promptly looked like she was about to cry herself. I love exchanges like that. Leah is the big sister I never had. I miss our "us time". We need to fix that.
It was a slightly depressing party for me though. Hannah and Rochelle left early. Anth wasn't there. Though I know I couldn't have monopolized him, his presence would've been nice. I was kind of floating between groups, not really belonging with anyone in particular. Not quite as fun as I would've imagined.
I had a dream that I punched someone in the face who I've been wanting to punch in the face for a long time last night. I woke up feel satisfied.
