The Actor's Opprobrium...

Feb 23, 2007 21:56

I reek of baby wipes and make-up remover. Oh, the joys of being costume and make-up crew. Being a tech has actually been an interesting experience. I feel like I definitely have an even deeper appreciation for them than before. I am not eager to do it again, because I'd like nothing better than to be on stage, but I won't shy away from it as much as I have in the past.

Spring break is in a little over 5 weeks and let me tell you, I am looking forward to it haha. Let me just give you a little run through of my life for the next several weeks. Next week includes performing in a choir concert, watching a choir concert, 2 festivals (one for Concert Choir and one for Bella Voce), a rehearsal for said festivals, my first Opening Number rehearsal, AND Annie auditions. Plus, I am seeing Aida and am going to try my damndest to fit in Hollywood Memories. The next week which previously seemed tame I have come to realize will probably be full of preliminary Annie rehearsals and HOLY SHIT IT'S NEXT WEEK Opening Number rehearsals. The week after that is (I NEED TO WORK MY PIECES LIKE NOW) State Conference. The next week is Bella Voce's trip to New York, and the week after that is Fine Arts Week. AND THEN, finally, spring break. Oh my. And when we get back we go to San Diego, and then straight on through until Annie.

Sometimes I feel like I'm running from point to point in my life. I forget what it's like to saunter.

I got another Superior on my solo at All-Region. That was pretty exciting. Just wanted to share that one.

If you haven't seen LMAT yet (which none of you have since I haven't seen any of you yet except Lisa and Jeff, but even they didn't see it haha), you should definitely make you way over to see it. We are getting reeeeally good responses.

Alright. I could write way more, but I really want to go to sleep tonight haha.

I am content. Busy, but content.
