Amazing Because It Is
This statement logically seems to make no sense...on the surface. But there is a lot going on here.
What is the "it"? Grace. The statement is not saying "Ice cream is good because it is". That is not accurate. Ice cream has to be good because something redeemable is found in it. Any thing could be used for the example. The point is, Grace is amazing because it is. And by "is" I mean because it exists. The "is" is the fact that it is in existence and it is part of reality and part of our eternity, if chosen.
We should be awe-struck by Grace. It makes no sense in our small fragile minds, but there is a purpose and a reason for us being pulled out of condemnation.
