Holiday fic, written quick and since I haven't been home since I wrote it, no time for edits either. Obviously A/W.
“Done!” Ada heaved a tired sigh, shoving the last of the brightly shimmering gift wrap aside. The last of her children’s gifts finally wrapped and placed under the tree, ready for the next morning. Leaning against the posh couch, Ada admired her handy work. It wasn’t easy making the mansion look festively warm and welcoming, but indeed she had accomplished her task.
“I see you finally have free hands.” Ada looked over to see her husband leaning against the doorframe, a bottle of her favorite wine and two glasses in hand. Inhuman cat eyes glowing in the firelight, he sauntered over, sitting on the sofa and placing his legs on either side of her slim body. “Mrs. Clause, I do believe you have worked hard enough for tonight.”
Ada laughed, wrapping an arm around his leg and kissing his knee. “I would have been finished at ten if I had some help.”
Leaning over her and placing the wine and glasses on the table, Wesker scooped her into his arms effortlessly and drug her to his lap. “So tell me dear…what do you want for Christmas?”
Slender fingers sliding through his blond hair, Ada’s lips retained her joyful smile. “I already have it.” Those same happy lips met his in a passionate kiss, both reluctant to separate. When she finally lingered away, she heard her mate sigh. Snickering, Ada grabbed the wine and poured some for them both. “I pray you didn’t tell them another one of those horrid bedtime stories. They may not be completely human…but still!”
Grinning wickedly, the tyrant reached past his wife and the wine, snatching a few of the red velvet cookies she had made earlier that day. “Nonsense…twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, only Ada was stirring in her little lace blouse.”
Smacking him playfully, Ada and Wesker continued their evening flirting until close to midnight. Finishing off the wine and the cookies, Wesker stood and took Ada by the hand. “Bed time, Mrs. Clause…the twins won’t enjoy their morning if you are not there to see their faces unwrapping their gifts.”
With their arms around each other, they progressed across the living room. As he stopped, Ada looked at him feeling highly confused. “Forget something?”
Lips curving to a smirk, Wesker nodded and faced her. “As a matter of fact…I did.” He pointed up. “Mistletoe my dear butterfly…” Before she could move, he was kissing her once more. As they parted, his wicked grin remained. “You’ll be getting one gift once we get back to the bedroom.”
“Yay! Mamma Daddy! Santa brought me a new princess Barbie!” Silvia’s bright yellow eyes glowed with the delight any happy child had on Christmas morning. The blonde princess squealed with joy once more as her next present turned out to be dollhouse. Her twin brother was too busy shredding the paper off another one of his presents.
Noticing his sour face, Wesker chuckled. “What’s the matter Grant…did Santa bring you a lump of coal?”
The black haired boy scowled up at his father. “No….more clothes! Daddy…is Santa a fairy?”
Albert was nearly thrown into hysterics as Ada scolded their son. “Those weren’t brought by Santa! I got those for you and you will wear them or else!”
Sighing, the young tyrant grabbed another gift and opened it with the same ferocity. Instantly his face changed, golden eyes exuberating happiness. “Awesome! Dad look what I got! This game is so cool!”
Silvia crawled over her ever growing stack of unwrapped presents to hand two boxes to her parents. “Mamma, Daddy! These are for you!”
Ada giggled, taking the box addressed to her. “Thank you sweetie! Oh….it’s from you darling.” Unwrapping it and opening the box, Ada found herself staring dumbfounded and completely breathless. “O-oh…Albert…” Both twins instantly scrambled over to see.
“Wow! Oh Mommy that’s so pretty!” Silvia hugged her father’s leg as her brother nodded approvingly. Ada could do nothing but stare at the jewelry set. A silver butterfly pendant with matching earrings and a ring that looked just as expensive as her engagement ring gleamed brilliantly back at her.
Nuzzling her cheek, Wesker cupped her chin and drew her eyes to his. “You deserve the finest money can buy my dear. Those were all custom made to your tastes.”
Ada kissed him with furious passion, almost forgetting their children were watching. “Open yours dear,” she panted breathlessly. “Merry Christmas honey.”
Taking his time, Wesker found it odd that his gift’s box was not from any familiar department store. A simple white panel, but it was moderately heavy. Lifting the lid, his own eyes widened ever so slightly. “My dear…you certainly are one of a kind.”
“What is it Papa?” Silvia stood and looked over his lap as Grant pawed at him, also begging to see.
Wesker held up a viral tube, the deadly liquid inside swirling slowly. “Your mother brought me a new virus to play with.” Smirking at his wife and children, the tyrant carefully replaced the vile along side the others and placed the box on the coffee table. “Ada my dear….I think later today the children and I will be taking lunch in the labs.”
