So these devices really do shock people. How irritating.
Honestly, what I wouldn't do to get my magic back... To think the great and powerful Wind Mage Vaati has fallen so low as to be tormented by mere humans.

You know what, I don't care anymore.
They told me not to tell anyone, but...Now I know who my true friends are, the ones who've stayed with me here, and...and if they can take people away, everyone should be able to have their powers back, not just the people that the people up at Marshall Street think are important enough.
You'll have to find another doctor, and do all of it in secret, because Simon Tam will grill you about how you found out and then they'll never help us out with anything again. And don't tell anyone you know.
Okay. We all have this chip inside us. Like a computer chip. Behind our necks. It stoppers our powers. The group put it there, is the most obvious answer. It's got to come out, and you'll feel like crap for a week, but then you'll have them.

And how long has this been going on? How did I not notice? Damn, it was right infront of me the whole time.
It might be difficult to find another doctor, but I will do what I have to... It was wise of me to trust you, Prydain, and you yourself have been wise for trusting in me. I am in your debt.

Well. They found out when they examined that alchemist armor kid, and...I found out through Peter, he gave me some tips, and then...got the chance to ask the Marshall Street doctor about it that time Endrance showed up hurt and we needed to bring a doctor up, I escorted him, and told him I knew about it, and he agreed to do it, on certain conditions I've just broken.
...But you know what. I'm sick of this whole place breaking people.
I'm glad you feel that way, 'cause...boy, Kadaj and Haseo'll be raking me across the coals for keeping it from them for so long, I'm sure.

I see... I must admit, I'm impressed they managed to keep it reasonably quiet for so long.
They are no gods. They should have no right to decide who lives or dies, or who is allowed to have strength. We were brought to this world and forced equal, so if they insist on changing that law, then we have the right to do the same.
At least you decided to say something at all. I'm sure they will be willing to forgive you.

Yeah, I thought...with all the others who've been getting theirs, sooner or later there'd be a leak till everyone knew.
Right. I agree with that. I made a promise, but- but its one worth breaking. I don't like the idea of some people having them, but...might as well give us a chance too then, right?
I guess. Kadaj's temper gets bad, and I think he's been suspicious of me lately.
They took Namine, like Harriet.
