I refuse to believe this. I am not becoming attached to such weak humans as these. I am Vaati, the great Wind Demon! I am the most powerful mage in all of Hyrule! I have no need for such annoyances. The only reason I've spared them is my lack of magic, they don't even deserve pity from me!
But it's becoming more difficult to ignore... Even if I deny it, I can't help but feel worry for them... Would it really make much difference if they died? But how does that even affect me...?
They're just pawns to be used, and nothing more. That's all they'll ever be to me.
The rain finally stopped, it seems. I think I'll be going down to the shops to see if I can find some useable shoes, these sandals aren't very useful. Or whole.
