Lonnnnng Weekend
So Thursday night I went out and got trashed at Avio's. Met up with everyone that I know from work (seriously. Like, everyone.). Hit on a girl for half an hour only to have her go sit on some other guy's lap. Weak. Also Martin and Tracy rocked my socks by being there.
Buuut I felt like shit Friday. I worked for a while, got a bit of a nap, and then went back out to Kitty O'Shea's at midnight for Leslie's 21st. Happy B-Day, Lelly! Drank, but not much. Talked about beating up Jesus. Leslie got sick in a Taco Bell bag. It ruled. Oh yeah, I put in my two weeks at work that night, along with a generous helping of snark.
I didn't sleep at all Friday night, since I got home at 2:30 and had to leave again at 4:30 am to drive to Cincy and catch my plane to Boston. That went fine, except for Martin getting stopped for having a knife. [facepalm]
Slept a bit on the plane, got into Boston, and got to the hotel, and slept a bit more. After nappage, went downtown via subway for some good Italian dinner/wine, followed by wandering the city in search of pubs. Boston accents are cool. I have almost perfected mine.
After a couple drinkies, went to the arena and saw Dane. It was very funny - all of you will see just how funny when it airs on HBO in May. Boston is dumb because out of state IDs could only get beers if you were over 25. Blah. After the show, we were stuck at the arena with no ride for half an hour until we finally got a cab. Suck.
Got back to the hotel at 2:30, and got a few more hours' sleep before awakening at 5:30 am to head back to the airport and fly home. This time, we managed to get first class. Rock. So I sat up there, had a few screwdrivers, and watched TV until we got home.
Went to my mom's house and slept a bit until the fam got there for Easter, which was fun. My little cousin is cute. Then I drove Martin's car back to Lexy and went straight in to work at the theater. Yawn. Came home from work, and SLEPT. Joy.
Total amount of sleep estimated between Friday morning and late Sunday night: 6 hrs.
I'm sure I left some stuff out, but oh well. Kingdom Hearts II time...
