Update on Stuff
Life is good to me today.
I had an audition with Kaplan at 1 pm today to teach LSAT classes (like Hobo Joe, Esq.), and I passed. I got the job, pending a background check. So I should hear back in a week or two about when I'll start training. This is good because I'm barely keeping my head above water right now, monetarily speaking. So with this job and with me still trying to get a third job somewhere else, hopefully in a month or two I should have an adequate money flow so that I can begin living again (though I'll have to time in which to live).
Secondly, my girlfriend rules. The more time I spend around her, the more thankful I become for her and the more I find her to be a necessary part of my life. There are difficulties, as there will be with any reasonably complex person, but part of the fun is working through the not-so-fun stuff and then delighting in the good moments.
Finally, I only got a few responses on my last post, which is a real heartwarmer, since I put THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART in big fat letters. This means either people have stopped reading my journal (thanks a lot), or they can't take five seconds to type a response (yeah, nice). In either case, looks like the party will be Saturday, Jan 21st. If this doesn't work for anyone, tough titties. You had your chance to speak up and you didn't bother. Everyone who did respond said this date was better. It's BYOB with the exception that we're getting a keg of some agreeable beer... anyone who feels generous and wants to chip in a few bucks would be muchly appreciated, as I am Broke Asshole. I'll try to get around to inviting everyone personally, but in case I don't, spread the word. Invite people - I want a lot of people there. If you're not sure whether or not to invite someone, contact me. If you can't get a hold of me (unlikely), invite them anyway.
