LSDAS and SW

So last night I got some of my shit situated for hypothetical law school. I read a bunch of stuff about the LSAC and UK's law school, in addition to registering with the LSDAS and registering for the LSAT, which I now have on Oct 1. But there went $220. It may be a big waste of time anyway, who knows... my GPA in undergrad was only 2.74, so unless I get a great LSAT score, I'm not likely to get in.

However, I've always done well at standardized tests, and I plan on studying a lot for this one, so I think a good score is not out of the question. Props to Bryce and especially Joe for being my buddies with this stuff.

I need to think of a topic for my personal statement as well as collecting 3 or 4 letters of recommendation. Apparently Jim, my boss at work, is not permitted to write them for employees (what shit is that?), so there goes that... I basically need to get them all from profs now, so I hope they remember me!

I need to take a practice test by Sunday night so Joe and I can figure out where I need work. Please everybody, cross your fingers for me... I'm getting excited about all this, but I'm also terrified I'm setting myself up for spectacular failure.

Completely unrelated, I am slowly worming my way into the Star Wars universe! After beginning to meet important people at conventions, and having the one distinction of being preserved on the Star Wars Webcam with Pablo Hidalgo himself, not to mention having an author write an informative blog based on a question I asked at a convention, I now have concrete proof that someone Star Wars-related knows who I am!

Daniel Logan (Boba Fett in Ep II - or, as I call him, "Baby Fett") has a blog on the website, and he wrote about hosting that symphony concert I went to awhile back... I left him a comment there saying I didn't get a chance to meet him there but I hoped to meet him at Dragon*Con Labor Day Weekend... well, he wrote a blog entry responding to a bunch of people's comments by name (pretty cool for a star kid, since fame usually goes to their heads), and one of them was me! He remembered who I was (or so he claimed!)

Proof! Rock. On.
