Happy Turkey Weekend!
It's Turkey Day weekend, and of course, I've been sick as a dog the past two days. Hell, they even sent me home 30 minutes into my shift at the store this morning. It's Thanksgiving! I didn't call in sick because I knew someone would hunt me down and kick my ass if I had.
I need a Hallowe'en costume. A friend is having a Murder Mystery party on Hallowe'en, and I'm going, as long as I'm not having to work. She's had one the past couple of years for her birthday party but I've been down in the States tubing, so I haven't gone. Apparently my character is "Breathless Betty", daughter of the Governor, so I need a gown. It would be easier to rent one, but I'm not sure how much it would cost. I'd have more customizing choices if I made it, but I'd definitely need my Mom's help. And time would be a definite factor.
AUGH.
