1. Reply to this post, and I will pick six of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon glee.
Stolen from
dreamaria Since I only have six to begin with, I'll just do 'em all...
1.
My default. It's part of a painting by Salvador Dali, an angel inspecting his/its self. There are several drawers that come from its chest. I am fascinated in general by thought as a whole, and I also have a thing for angels and other religious iconography. I see this sort of as it contemplating on itself. It's my default 'cause I have liked it best for several years, and I figure it fits well enough. It's also my "thinking" icon so it tends to get a lot of use.
2.
Maurice Moss, from The IT Crowd. I enjoy British humor, what can I say? I am also sort-of crushing on Moss, here. He's so amazing. Hah! But seriously, this is a general use "what the hell" or sometimes even "annoyed". Actually it's been only recently that I even had more than three icons, so I haven't gotten all of them to have a set use yet. Also useful for just mixing it up.
3.
Another IT Crowd icon. This one is more self-explanatory. Something smells like "fail" around here.
4.
Hedwig! Goddaamn, he looks pissed, huh? This is my MANGRY icon. This still is captured by the lovely Jayson from a video of me. I was trying to cuddle Hedwig for the camera and this is one of the terrifying images it captured of my baby's rage. It makes me think of those creepy psycho grey gorillas from Congo. HEDWIG SMASH SKULL.
5.
Llamas with hats! This has slowly evolved into my "raep face" icon, even though originally I requested Jayson make me a Handbanana icon for that purpose. It's sort of a creeper icon, I guess. Like that guy that leans way too close to tell you something, usually something that you didn't want to know about.
6.
Hedwig again! As some of my RL friends are aware my cat attacks himself. We're not sure why, but he never causes permanent damage so I don't worry too much. It's just mostly hilarious. He'll even yowl like he has nothing to do with the fact that his feet are getting bitten or his face is getting kicked. This is either a frustrated icon or a silly one, depending on the context. A "*head desk*" or in this case, "*footface*" reaction.
END.
