Hi everyone,
In light of some recent changes both in my personal life and with LJ I feel that it is time to say goodbye. I have really enjoyed running icontests in their various forms. It is something that has brought me a lot of happiness over a long period of time.
I am sad to say goodbye and I know this decision will disappoint people but it is time for me - I don’t think I have enough time to be consistent with it and I have been out of the icon making community for several years now that I don’t feel like I am being creative with my challenges.
If someone wants to take over either or both of the communities then they can do so with my blessing. If people want to move it over to another platform and start again then that also has my blessing. These were designed to be fun for people; it would be great if they got to continue on without me.
I will not delete my LJ right away or anything drastic so there is time to organise things if someone does want to take over or if there are outstanding banners and things like that.
I wanted to thank everyone for participating in the challenges and for all their understanding and enthusiasm.
