So I'm sitting at this point, staring at the list of scenes in Scrivener. And -- I'm torn. I know how I originally wanted this to end, but the story wants to take the super-scenic route, which is throwing the pacing off by a good bit. Frex: looking at the various lengths, I'm going anywhere from 300 to 1500 words per scene, and then bang the end is at 3.5K and climbing. It's *maybe* 2/3 done.
