Cherry Blossom Viewing!
This Sunday I am planning to go up to Hikone for the Booze Bar annual Hanami. Unlike past years, which were in the evening, this year will be starting at noon inside the outer moat of the Castle.
Just yesterday I discovered a happy coincidence. A DJ i know is participating in an outdoor free party at the very same location!

If anyone (Anne? Angus?) is interested in joining me on Sunday, get ahold of me and we can make plans to meet. I will be aiming to arrive in Hikone around noon. Bringing some snacks to share and some drinks to drink (especially if you want anything non-alcoholic) is a good idea. If you want to share the drinks and food that will be provided by the Booze Bar crew, there is usually a mandatory donation of 1000 or 2000 yen. The food is unlikely to be vegetarian.
