Happy Purim!!!
Happy Purim to you all. It's my holiday, but i didn't do anything for it. Boo me. Don't remind me anymore, because i already feel badly enough. I promise to make up for it next year, oh yeah!
But i learned something yesterday that disturbs me a bit. I found out on Friday at this meeting that the board of education here decided to go with my company's main competitor, instead of sticking with the company i work for next year. The competitor is cheaper, but not as good at supporting teachers, has crappy materials, and isn't as education-oriented, having started out in another field and hopped over to ALT-dispatch when the markets seemed lucrative.
But anyway, i mailed my supervisor about finding out, wondering if it had anything to do with my work, although i thought i'd been doing a good job. Well, apparently they would have stuck with my company if i was part of the deal, but because i didn't want to stay, they decided to go with the other company.
I'm not sure if i should feel flattered or guilty.
