appreciating irony

I've come to the realization that starting posts with "I've come to the realization" is not the best way to start a post.

It has come to my attention that Myspace lurker(s) is/are judging me by my metaphorical cover. Even when the cover's hidden, it doesn't speak more than what you want to hear. Believe what you want. You have absolutely no fucking clue how this story ends. But I'll tell you something - I can make a good guess how yours does, and it isn't pretty, baby. DIAF.

Anyway -

I don't live my life based on the negative. I wake up every afternoon with a smile, because I know that I'm going to do so much better. Even now, I've all but forgotten what hardship is like. The uncertainty seems distant, hazy, kind of like my old apartment. Tully Road old.

I had a great conversation last night involving people and their inability to keep conversations afloat. (Josh, I know that last sentence wasn't lost on you, haha) A phone conversation was described to me in detail:

2 is calling 1.

1: Hey, what's up?
2: Hi, not much, how are you?
1: Good.
2: ...
1: ...
2: ...
1: ... (waiting)
2: ...(sighs) So I'm ironing right now.

Really, I couldn't help but laugh.

These walks at night are great.

I feel pure and focused, like a great simile.
