30 Days of Music Meme: Day 06 & 07
Totally forgot to post yesterday! OMG! Am a tad bit obsessed with bad gay soap stories at the moment, but: two days today to compensate!
Day 06 - A song that reminds of you of somewhere
The first time we went to Wales, we had two CD's on constant rotation in the car, the whole week: a random Celtic Music collection and The Chieftains The Long Black Veil. So that music always reminds me of Wales, and especially Changing Your Demeanor. However, they didn't have that on YouTube, and this is fairly amazing anyway, so:

I'd also like to mention Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Eddie Vedder's collaboration The Face of Love for the Dead Man Walking soundtrack. It's a very random memory and association, but I used to be hours early for class when I was at uni, and I had a walkman with me to get me through those hours of waiting. One of the tapes was the Dead Man Walking soundtrack, and I have a strong sensory memory of being in one of the faculty buildings (MSI, for my Leuven followers) that gets triggered every time I hear that song.

This one is easy :)
It's a very recent 'event': the infamous Elke-walks-by-David-Gray. Cherished for many, many reasons, most of all because this song only made the moment that much more sublime.
