(no subject)
Hey guys!
I know I haven't been around in... wow, a month. I would've posted sooner but I had an interview that I wanted to just squee about but didn't want to jinx. So I kept my mouth shut, had the interview last Monday and it was... yeah. They had me interviewing for a position I didn't even know was open let alone one that I had applied for. *headdesk* I'd worked hard on studying up for one position only to sit down and realize to my horror that I was being interviewed for something completely different. I did prepare for some of the interviewing questions they had, but for the most part I sat there with my thumb up my ass. Thankfully the interview was MAYBE 20 minutes long with MAYBE 10 questions. I was a bit peeved that they had me drive all the way to Ann Arbor (granted I was visiting sayyida_jaida in Lansing so the drive wasn't too far, but still, we had to stay overnight) for a 20 min. interview for a job I know I'm not qualified for when I could've just as easily had a phone interview during my lunch hour. *sigh*
It doesn't matter though. Sayy and I drove up to Frankenmuth (a cute little German town that would look even more cute during the winter with all of the toy soldiers everywhere) for lunch, had some good German food, then drove back home. I spent a week with Sayy and while we didn't do anything major it was exactly what I needed. I DREAD going back to work tomorrow and I look forward to leaving that shit job even more. Anyhoo, that's what's been going on in my life. I've been around, lurking, commenting here and there so I'm still here if you want to drop me a line.
I also have something to pimp! Sayy and I are working on a new RP called Once Upon a Time. It's set during the Founder's Era and is pre-Hogwarts - so we get to watch the Founders deal with everything that leads to the building of the school and the actual founding of Hogwarts itself. If you're interested here's the ad! It's going to be mainly OCs (with the exception of the Founders themselves) so there is a lot of leeway and creativity to be had! XD

The Norman King, William, had arrived with his supporters on the shores of Britain, and battle had been waged. The Normans had been victorious, and titles were granted to the invaders, making them the new ruling class.
But that wasn't the only conflict.
Included in William's army were wizards, powerful men who controlled both land and the elemental forces of nature. Their women came, too, and a society within a society was created.
For a time, the two groups lived in relative peace.
But nothing lasts forever.

21 years have passed, the year is now 1087.
Afraid and resentful of the power of the magic-folk, the common men and women, Muggles, began to rebel against their one time allies. For all the power that magic brought the wizarding class, the Muggles had sheer numbers on their side.
Now, society is on the brink of collapse and dissidence is rampant. Witches and wizards are being caught, tortured, and killed by the Muggles, and Muggles are disappearing in their beds.
Something has to be done, but what? By who?
Some of the greatest minds of the age are coming together to try and find a way to save the world as they know it, but even they have differences of opinion. Who will you side with? What will your answer be? Join us as we look back in time….
This is a game for mature players only, for sex and violence aren’t appropriate for the under 18 crowd. Original characters are welcomed! Over arching and ambitious plot lines encouraged!
