The Trial of Tony Blair

We watched a mockumentary called The Trial of Tony Blair last night and I only hope one day that he is arrested and tried in the Hague. I would celebrate heartily if that man was tried and locked up for his crimes against humanity.

There was an amusing bit showing Tony and Cherie Blair eating breakfast and he read out, "George W Bush is back in ( Read more... )

Cherie says "Who would know?" ;-)

LOL! Not the public, probably not his wife. My guess is that Tony Snow would be the first to notice since he wouldn't know what to say without Bush putting words in his mouth.

You know, I don't think he started out to condone evil, but I do think he's been played like a fiddle by all sorts of twisted power hungry meglomaniacs.
The American government is not Britain's friend! They remain the isolationists they were 100 years ago. The showy handshakes that belie the nepharious wheeling dealing that goes on behind closed doors makes me SICK.
I also liken politicians to the Mafia - only even more evil, as at least the Mafia make no bones about how they go about things.

I still cannot believe Bush's New Year annoucement that he sending in more troops to Iraq... how many more people will have to die?

"Acts of injustice done
between the setting and the rising sun
In history lie like bones,
each one."

I agree but I think he's become evil on his own as well as with help. I think power sadly does that to most people. :-(

That's very true and I wish everyone could see through the lies. I think we need to find another way to govern the world because corruption and high places go hand in hand globally.

That's a great point, when the mafia arrange a hit we all know who hit who whereas the U.S. have killed millions through assassination and installing horrible regimes.

I just hope he doesn't get the chance to go through with it. The common feeling in Iraq now is that they are occupied and that when the U.S. leave then so will many of those fighting for control.

Sad but true! :-(
