6(t)6c : Guests; hosts assume full responsibility for their guests' conduct and familiarity with rules and regulation.
6(t)20: on-campus housing: social gatherings; hosting a gathering in one's on-campus housing unit that exceeded the maximum occupancy for that unit type.
these are the violations to the code of conduct that we have been charged with. the party: happy new year 1984. today we all had to go over to building A and have a meeting with shari lupton, residence life coordinator, lesbian. about 2 minutes into the meeting we were reading the report about our conduct....30 seconds after that banke and i were snickering about the names of the people implicated in the report: 'keith zahler jr.' and 'alan bamberg'. haha, first of all, we have all known keith as 'quiefer' and not a 'jr.' and the last name bamberg, well, that's just a joke. anyway's shari asked what she thought was wrong with a party like ours and jon blurted out something about a fire hazard. to that, shari responded, 'yeah, that could be hazardous, just like the patio you guys built.' lol, i almost died and im sure that everyone in the room almost did, except of course for shari lupton. in the end we signed for and accepted all responsibility for our actions and we will probably have to write a one page 'sorry' letter for what we did. ridiculous.
aside from that, yesterday ruled. at 8pm mtv brought down imarobot, lost prophets, and hoobastank to play at fiu. what's more, i got in free! anyway's, i got there a little late because i was working on some biochemistry homework in the library but when i got there, imarobot was just about finished and lost prophets was getting ready in the background. after saying hi to some people, i met up with ricky who was nice enough to hold my camera while he hoisted me up in the air to go crowd surfing! that's a first for me, and it was great....except for the cops. after being passed around for a little while i made it to the front somehow and i was thrown, literally, on the floor by some cops and dragged out like a little kid by the belt loop. haha they said that i couldn't get back in, but i was determined to see hoobastank. at the entrance a guy who was also crowd surfing tried to get back in and they said no, but when it was my turn to try to get in, i told them that came outside to receive a phone call and they let me back in. so, hoobastank was great. i recorded an entire song from the concert with my camera, so you can view it here.
