its been a while since my last entry but a lot has
happened since then. after the fall semester ended, the boys of g101
ang g102 decided that we were going to add a new addition to the
apartments. after speaking with 'the family', we set off to Home
depot to buy the proper supplies for a patio! the obvious questions
came to mind when we were conversing about the patio: 'will housing
let us do this?', 'can we make this happen?', ect. In the end, we
didn't really care to much about the reprocussions. so after, taking
measurements and making a simple draft of the patio, we bought the
supplies and made it a reality before the days end! after we finished
the job, we stood back in disbelie;. this was a professional looking
job! anyways, everyone that saw the patio loved it ...except for
Sherie, the head of housing. after she saw our work she told us that
it was a 'fire hazard' and that it 'conflicted with the overall similarity
of the apartments'. seriously...does screen keep much out other
than mosquitos? I am pretty sure that 10 college guys would be able
to break through a screen in the case of a fire! lol, and the uniformity
of the apartments...that is just ridiculous. anyways, shery told
us that we would have to tear the patio down before 9 a.m. the next
day or be kicked out of housing! so...we had a huge party and rocked
it before we had to take it down:
