Adam Lambert Makes MTV’s ‘10 on Top’
Adam Lambert's music video for his new single Never Close Our Eyes came in at #4 on the latest MTV countdown for "10 on Top." MTV's weekly "10 on Top" is a countdown of the top ten most texted and talked about young celebs at the moment. According to MTV, "their ranking will be influenced by the audience-based on the chatter they elicit, and the headlines they create each week, as well as the amount of buzz about their upcoming projects and events (appearances, premieres, tours, etc.)." Adam is certainly creating buzz with his new album Trespassing (which debuted at #1 on Billboard) and his upcoming gigs with legendary rock band Queen.
Now only did Adam make the 10 on Top countdown, but they also included an interview segment where he talks about the song. He said that Never Close Our Eyes is "a great party song that basically says you'll sleep when you're dead, so make the most of every moment and be in the now." During the clip, host Lenay Dunn also gave a plug for Adam for the O Music Awards, in which Adam is nominated for three categories, including "Fan Army FTW."
