Recently the Twitter account from the movie BULLY asked fans to nominate a song for their "Bully List." For Adam Lambert's fans, it was a no-brainer to nominate his song Aftermath, an obvious empowerment anthem against bullying. Fans loyally tweeted their nominations and for a while, Aftermath was among the top three songs nominated for the list. The final list has now been posted on Facebook by BULLY and Adam made the top 20!

The top songs based on crowdsourced votes were compiled to create an official playlist featuring 20 of the most empowering anthems inspired by BULLY. Adam's Aftermath came in at #17, just behind fellow American Idol alum Kris Allen, who took the #16 spot with his new singleThe Vision of Love. Some other top artists included in the playlist are Taylor Swift, Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga, and Demi Lovato.

The new documentary film BULLY offers "an intimate, unflinching look at how bullying has touched five kids and their families." The film is now playing in theaters everywhere. To learn more about BULLY, check out the official website.

You can listen to Adam Lambert's Aftermath, as well as the other 19 songs that made the cut for the #BullyList Official Playlist on8tracks.com. Did you nominate Aftermath for the list?
