Adam being on Glee could result in it being one of the best episodes in an otherwise craptastic series. After all, he was the best mentor of a particularly crappy season of Idol.

That no one listened to. His was the only episode I tuned into that season and I couldn't believe no one listened to a word he said. Such a waste.

Which made it all the more hilarious when that season rammed into the ground and the winner has been all but forgotten about. Maybe they'd be doing better had they listened to the master. Losers.

I'm kind of surprised they haven't used one of his songs yet. Much as I dislike it, WYWFM would have been perfect for Santana last season. Not sure about a walk-on or how they'd work around that, but a song or two would be awesome. My only concern is that (from past experiences, I fled as fast as I could) there's a large faction of the Glee fandom who er, dislike Adam and don't him or his songs on the show. So I don't know how well it would go over or what kind of criticism he'd get from that.

True, but honestly there's several factions of the Glee fandom that almost everything about the show. Honestly, go to any message board and it's non stop bitching and non stop defending. The show really is a polarizing type thing - you either love a character, storyline, actor/actress, etc. or you hate them. It's weird, cause I personally don't have strong feelings either way on most of those issues because I know that Glee has never been a show to take seriously or expect real plotlines out of. I simply tune in for the entertainment and because I like most of the actors and their voices.

Secondly, even though Adam wants to be on Glee doesn't mean it will lead to anything. For example, Anne Hathaway badly wanted to be on Glee and I read for a long time that Ryan ( ... )

This is the same for me. Like I said below, the show hasn't promised to be anything except for an hour to kill about a high school glee club. And again, sometimes they'll say something that is ridiculous (mostly everything that Finn says [though I'm in the very small camp that kind of likes the guy]), but I've never been offended and I don't get how you can be knowing what the show actually is. And I don't think it can be Advocacy Hour for everyone everywhere, nor should we expect it. But we all have those things that we're passionate about, I guess.

I like Finn most of the time too =P

I don't understand why people even get offended at the show to be honest. It has a great message of acceptance of all types of people, be it their sexual orientation, gender, race, lifestyle, etc. I can see the appeal to a lot of people because most will have a character or two they can relate to because it's a diverse group of people.

I've always wanted to see him on the show. I heard he didn't care for it, but I still hoped for it. I remember seeing his meeting with Lea when he was corresponding on ET and how she was so obsessed to sing with him. I want to see it happen. Come on, RIB. Make it happen.

She's been very vocal about wanting him on the show, LOL. I love that she's such a Glambert <3 :D

You know I've seen a lot of people complain that Glee has gone downhill, and honestly I don't understand the statement. I agree that the current season isn't the best it has ever been, but I really did like season 2 much more than season 1, although that's probably because the characters I like got more storylines. However, I don't really know what a lot of people are expecting from the show...I've never seen it as a show to have serious or real plotlines. It's more just a goofy entertaining show that you tune in to every week to see where the characters are going. Just out of curiosity, why specifically do you think it has gone downhill?

Just butting in to say that I agree. I see a lot of people who are not happy with where it's gone and I'm not sure why. Every show has its flaws, and sometimes characters say or do things that irritate me, but I don't really see such a level of difference through the last three seasons that make me hate the show. I understand being disappointed and no longer liking a show - been there done that - but I just don't get it with Glee, since it never really made itself out to be anything other than what it still is.

Amen! I think people are way too critical about a show that has never taken itself very seriously. Sure, there've been serious plotlines, some being more advocacy-filled than others, but there's almost always a light-hearted feel to every episode and the underlying theme of acceptance and hope.

Nope, that's not it.  It used to be on Youtube but I guess it got removed.  Here's where I found the video.  At the very least you can read what she said, or maybe the video will work there for you.
