It looks like Adam Lambert will soon be selling a Glam Nation DVD featuring video from his tour. But unfortunately, the DVD will not be released in time for the holidays. Yesterday, on Lambert’s official website, an RCA representative hinted about the DVD: “The DVD probably won't be ready to deliver (to order yes, but not to deliver) before Xmas. I can't tell you guys how bummed I am about this, but the thing is we're still going back and forth with Adam to nail down the final edits and mixes exactly the way he wants them, and that only means you will get a KILLER Glam Nation tour memento, when it's done. Stay tuned for some goodies within a month, though, as I have a partner lined up to preview some clips online and we're working on numerous extras and fun ideas to make this one helluva package.”
Amateur Glam Nation videos taken by fans are already posted all over the Internet. Despite the “no video recording” warnings at the concerts, videos are posted on YouTube by concert goers just hours after the show ends. Many fans attending the Glam Nation concerts upload their videos to share the experience with fans that are unable to go.
And these videos are not just for Lambert's fans. They also provide great exposure for Adam. People unfamiliar with his music can get a taste of his performance, which will undoubtedly make them want more.
Even with the hundreds of amateur videos already available on YouTube, Adam’s fans are excited about the upcoming Glam Nation DVD. For those that were unable to attend one of the shows, the professional DVD is the next best thing to actually having been there. And for fans that were at a Glam Nation show, the DVD will allow them the opportunity to relive the experience over and over.
