my mom bought me a mug with the old new york skyline as a souvenir from her trip there. i hadn't been there yet and was probably never going to go. i fill it up every morning past the towers and drink my way to the subway. then, i grab the coffee and i do it again. somewhere, people are still sleeping at night?
