I wrote this last night, but it didnt post for some reason.......
Lab tonight was extremely boring. I thought it would be so it shouldnt be news but it was still a bummer to hear “we’re not going to learn anything new tonight”...that means we are going to hold you here and make you mix crappy bands that were recorded just as poorly for 4 hours. I was able to squeeze in a 30 minute nap before it though.....i don’t think I would have made it through without it.
Oh yeah, I bought a car :) It’s a 2003 honda accord coupe.... I love it!!
So I got home from lab tonight and caught “ed” exactly 12 minutes into it.....and thanks to TiVo, I rewound it to the beginning, and watched :).....lol. Ed always has these little lessons on life things that run throughout the episode and usually they are pretty witty and creative but tonights really got me thinking.....and actually, I had held this belief before tonight but really needed to hear it again. I could explain the premise of the show but that would take way too long so I will summarize. Ed’s assistant, Frankie (which is going to be the name of my black lab puppy...lol), just split up with her boyfriend because they couldnt agree on where to live...so he went to Houston and she stayed in stuckyville...anyhow, her ex sent her a plane ticket to go out there and try to work things out...she was iffy on it but was going to go anyways. Ed, being the wise man he is, told her not to go…why?...because when a relationship is “work”, it is dead....dead....hhhmmmmm.....very good point, rather harsh but still a good point...lol...I have never understood people that break up time and time again, trying to “work it out”....i know this has worked for people before, but I still don’t get it. Love, relationships should not be work. That defeats the purpose I think. Perhaps the fact that getting back together makes them feel safe is the reason. I guess I could understand that but if you are not happy why do it?....i have been there.....its not fun. But to each there own, I guess. I just believe that most people over analyze, I over analyze, these types of things. Love is simple....it really is....because it really doesn’t take any effort. Its just there in your heart. The hard part is opening up to it and accepting it. After all, being in love is not safe....its scary and uncertain and can cause great damage. But it can also be the most wonderful and powerful thing you can experience....Just a thought....lol....oh, and if you want to know what happened on “ed”, ill be happy to tell you...lol
