Let Me Be Clear. I Thought... The Cop... Was A Prostitute.

All is going relatively well in my world these days. Though I sometimes get frustrated/sad about not having a job, I am trying to make the most of it because I know soon enough I will be eye-gougingly busy and wishing I had this time back. Since I started seeing the girl Zohara introduced me to, that's taken up some amount of free time; since she does improv she is generally busy with that and work, but I've seen her a few times over the last 2 weekends and I'll be seeing her in a show tonight. I've still spent very little time hanging around doing nothing, which is good. Last week I saw my friend Ross who was visiting from England for a few weeks, and this week I have a few film fest movies lined up and I'll be seeing a couple of folks I haven't seen in a while.

It is looking more and more like I am going to sign up for the Chartered Financial Analyst exam in December. It's incredibly difficult and will take over my life, but it could definitely lead to job opportunities, and it is a way for me to be much more productive while career objectives remain stagnant. Unfortunately, it has a 35% pass rate and they recommend spending 6 months preparing for it even if you have a finance background, which I do not.

So we'll see.
