Overtime, yearbook party, mild irritation on the right foot. Etc.

A mild irriation.

Again I show up for my overtime shift at work, calling every few minutes on the way and having the automated system telling me that indeed overtime is on as scheduled. I get in, log into my computer and begin to log into my phone, only to have my cell phone ring and to have the woman tell me, for the second day in a row, that my overtime has been canceled.

So this is how valuable my time is to them. I'm here an hour and a half early in the middle of Vancouver, Washington. I have nothing to do and nowhere to go, so I thought I'd revist here with this page.

Lot's have happened since I last posted. Dusty and I are working on our next project, which is amping up to full gear now. We have auditions this coming Sunday, and begin shooting the last few weekends in March. We're trying to get all the players on the field. Dusty's a bit distracted by his personal projects such as the yearbook party he's been organizing.

A few weekends ago he had a big party in which we all took photo's designed to look like a high school yearbook album. Dusty and Amy have been working on putting together the yearbook, so that we can meet up this Saturday and sign one anothers books. Fun all around.

I've got a new apartment, on my own now. It was great to have all that help from DJ, but it's truly wonderful to be in control of my own enviornment. I'm in the middle of having the last of my shit shipped out to me from Ohio. A futon, a small bar, some books, etc. Everything at my place slowly morphs itself into a home. Even the smell of cat liter makes me feel like I have more control over things than I did at DJ's.

The winter waxes on, gripping relentlessly to the country around me. Some bright moments of spring prick through, beginning its battle with the cold and the dark. The long fight begins with brief bright moments of warmth, quickly and easily shadowed by winter's strength. That is just the beginning.

My right foot has a mild irritation on it, from scratching at it. Mel brings me anti-fungal gel, and it's gone.

And that is all
